There's actually a back story to Submerged, but both of the tracks were moments in time where I was feeling a lot of emotions.
Submerged was where my Ex Gf was suffering from depression, and I felt helpless, as i wanted to be there for her but she was pushing everyone away, so I delved my feelings into that song. And then, The Way Angels Move was where I started to realise that love wasn't purely romantic but all around us in different forms, and I started doing more self care etc. It all sounds a bit dramatic but it's just honestly how it was, so the tunes actually mean quite a bit to me.

Just after these were written there follows a story I feel compelled to share about young Danny....

Danny JD was brutally beaten in a mugging and has still been caring for his father. Read on guys…
A teenage carer who suffered a brain injury following an unprovoked attack has won an award for his positive response to what happened.
Danny Donnelly was attacked by two men whilst riding his bike at Forest Recreation Ground in February. He suffered a fractured jaw, eye injuries and concussion.
It left him with a minor brain injury that affects his motor skills, speech, balance and memory.
Despite this, he carried on with his studies and even took an A-level exam a week after suffering a seizure brought on by his brain injury.
The 17-year-old, who lives in Forest Fields, has also carried on caring for his father Lee Marriott, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and is in need of daily care.
He has also has released his own music on vinyl and digital formats via Soiree Records International; a label with a primary focus on electronic music.
It is for these reasons that he has been recognised by Nottinghamshire Police’s Live Our Best Life Awards programme, launched as part of its Stephen Lawrence Day celebrations.
Danny won the Rising Above Adversity award after being nominated by The Carers Federation, where is he a registered young carer.
